OUR STORY

Oz Off Road was established by the Managing Director of OzCar Brett Dale and radio legend “The Duck” (Rob Smith), who you’ll know from his Aussie travel radio shows and podcasts – especially The Camping & Off Road Radio Show.

Brett and the Duck saw a big gap for a proper one-stop shop where everyday 4WDers, campers and the Grey Nomads could get their hands on the best gear to hit the tracks with confidence. After plenty of planning, testing, and chasing down the right kit, plus pulling together a crew who live and breathe this lifestyle, Oz Off Road was born. It’s a place built by people who love 4WDing and camping, for people who love 4WDing and camping – no nonsense, just the gear you need to get out and explore this great country.

THE DUCK

The Duck is the host of The Camping & Off Road Radio Show heard weekly on 270 radio stations all over Australia and on podcasts.

An experienced off-road traveller, The Duck is very passionate about travelling regional and outback Australia and he along with other highly experienced 4WD camping identities encourage listeners to see Australia in a 4WD.

They offer tips on destinations, 4WD tracks, camping spots, talk top-end fishing and offer advice on how to take full advantage of what this country has to offer.

We offer camping solutions for the beginner, right up to the experienced camper. We employ highly experienced staff offering expert advice on camping gear, tips on the best spots and 4WD vehicle set-ups no matter what the application may be.
