FAQs

How does the Tow-Pro Elite work?

It senses deceleration and applies proportional braking to the trailer. You can switch to user-controlled mode for off-road or loose surfaces.

Do I need a controller to tow?

Yes—if your trailer’s GTM exceeds 750 kg, braking (and a compatible controller) is required to remain compliant.

Elite vs Classic — which should I choose?

Choose Elite for proportional + user-controlled flexibility and smoother highway towing. Choose Classic for budget, user-controlled only.

Will it look factory inside my cabin?

We mount the compact knob in a neat, ergonomic position and use vehicle-specific inserts/harnesses where available.

What else should I add?

Consider an Anderson charge line for caravan batteries, a break-safe kit, and a DC-DC charger if you’re powering fridges or accessories.
